Studio News January 2018

Message From The Boss

Happy New Year everyone. Just a few live shows to mention then it's over to the ever busy world of Damien Gerards. Firstly i forgot to mention my fave NYC Band Real Estate in last years wrap up, had a great run with them including Splendour mid 2017. The notable shows over the break wereHoodoo Gurus Christmas gig on Rottnest Island WA, where we fought gale force winds, rain and swell to still do the show, even though other events in Perth that day were cancelled. Hats off to the amazing A Team Crew of Davros and Ross Malloy. New Years saw a quick day time mix for Alex The Astronautup at The Lost Paradise Festival, and just the other day a very fun mix for the 'Gurus at the Australian Open through the brand new rockin' JPJ Line Array.(pic)

Latest Interview - The Victims with Dave Faulkner

"When anyone with a computer can record something of studio quality, what made you still go into a studio? Expertise and atmosphere. Also, there's more to recording than just having a medium to store your data. It's what happens to the signal between the performer and the recording device where all the magic happens.
